I had been looking at less expensive products, but decided to see what you could get for a little more money. And I was pleasantly surprised to find you can get quite a few more features if you are willing to spend a bit more.
For example, you can get electronic ignition and infinite control temperature settings. And you can also get hotter burners and larger cooking areas.
This product is great if you want a gas grill that takes up less space. If you live in an apartment or have a small deck or patio with your house, you may prefer the smaller size of this grill.
Also, if you are looking for portability - for camping, traveling, tail gaiting, etc. - this is a great addition to your cooking equipment.
I like that this Weber grill has an 8500 BTU-per-hour steel burner that covers 189 square inches of cooking area. For ease of use, it has an easy-start electronic ignition and infinite control burner valve settings.
It is solid and attractive with its porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates and it has an aluminum lid and body.
I also like the two winged platforms - one on each side - for setting cooking utensils on while you are cooking.
It is a Weber product - considered tops in barbecue cooking by many, many home chefs.
And... and this can be the real clincher... as of now it has an extremely high Amazon customer rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars - almost unheard of for a high rating.
What is even more impressive about this high rating is that I tend to believe that far more people post negative reviews than those who really like a product but don't take the time to post their feelings.
I think unhappy people want to tell the world, whereas satisfied (even ecstatic) customers are simply happy they purchased a great product.
Anyway, I think that makes this high rating so significant and important for purchase decisions.
